OLD CROW GRAVITATIONAL EVENT

On Tuesday, July 27th 2024 at 23:52:15 a magnitude 10 concussive shock occurred at 67°27'N, 140°34’W on the Porcupine river about 40km southwest of the Old Crow in the Yukon, Canada. It occurred in a geologically stable area with no history of seismic tremors or geological activity of any kind. Whilst the region is mostly unpopulated wilderness, there is fairly continuous coverage by magnetic and gravitational satellite sweeps and seismic and sonic stations linked to the Alaska Volcano institute in Fairbanks, 435km to the southwest.
